Ohhhh English…..
I have often wondered about the formalities in our life. And why do we have to be so particular about sticking to the formalities. Now before I start drifting to the perceived boring world of philosophy and abstraction-let me make myself clear that I am talking about the great English language.
The English language is great in itself and I have often wondered about the great capabilities that we possessed that we have successfully learned the language (however little we know). So its still unknown why do we have to use the silent words when all they do is to remain silent. And how capable we are so as to differentiate the sound of cream and ice-that is the different sounds of c in two different words. Also the need of w and v when actually they produce the same sounds. Hats off to the English teachers that we all were blessed with during school who have successfully taught us this great mysterious language.
well well well……nicely expressed…dat too in english…..yes its mysterious ….but i think dat our mother tongues are no less mysterious…..yes english is funny wen it comes to pronunciations and its jus d everyday touch wid d language dat improves our skills in it …no matter how elusive it seems to actually command it to express views in ways we actually want it to…it truly acts notorious at times conveying something completely diff wen actually somethin else ws meant…….kudos to all of us….i Think therefore i am ……
