The recent incidents of misbehaviour at the New Year eve brought us face –to-face with the ugly side of the Indian society. And the fact that on a poll next day most men thought that if young women are going to late night parties they should be prepared for such confrontations.
But the fact is that freedom for women in India is probably the costliest in all terms. Women esp in India are still dominated, controlled and subdued. Men have always tried to and still seek to dominate women. The women do not say that they are less than men but it is men who continuously make them feel so. In fact the Asian men are one of the worst scorers on the behaviour metric and I think I will not face major opposition on this issue. And I would like to stress that times have changed nothing. The Indian woman is and will be constrained at least in near future. And plllsssss we do not need one or two stars to disapprove this. What we need is a star in each one of us.

Personally, I think anyone gets as much dominates as he/she allows the others to dominate him/her. So its in the individual to stand up and make the voice heard.
