The Indo-Austrailia ODI series is making news-and lots of it-but for the wrong reasons.I think this event should actuallly make us stop for a moment and think about our behavior in the stadium.The latest charges that the austrailian players have made against the indian crowd at the stadium definitely needs some serious thinking.
We all know that India is a cricket-loving nation but are our manifestations of the same justified??Is it fair if people start throwing empty bottles at the other teams players when the indian team plays pretty badly??Are we as a nation mature enough for the international cricket events??
I think we really need put some restrain on our excitement for cricket and besides being called as a cricket crazy nation , we should also have sportsmanship and should be able to avoid such cheap allegations.Besides we all know who ae the cricket playing nations who are actually known to be racists.
Point well made… Sometimes, the audience tends to get carried away by the impulse tht the game generates, and it creates a mark on us as a nation. It is indeed not justifiable, but there is no immediate solution to curb it too!
