Consulting Symposium 2007

Welcome to the Consulting Symposium 2007 at Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi that is being held as a part of the Rostrum Seminar Series at DMS, IIT Delhi. Being held on the 22nd of Septemeber 2007, the Symposium is going to get on to one stage consulting minds from AT Kearney, BristleCone, Protiviti, Technopak, IBM, ECS, PWC, E&Y and Deloitte Consulting.

The Consulting Symposium is an attempt to bring together the corporate and the academia to deliberate on the emerging domains in consulting and the challenges, which lay in their path. The symposium also gives speakers an opportunity to address a large audience of future managers.
The scope of consulting companies is widening. Alignment of strategy and organizational structure, security of information and knowledge, and structure of the management boards, reengineering and M&A etc. are some of the key issues for companies. Of late, there have been several developments in the life cycle of the consulting service market and the concepts underlining organizational design and consulting methodology. The emergence of new sectors like telecom, retail and infrastructure has opened up several new avenues in consulting.
“Consulting – Emerging Avenues and Challenges in the Global Arena” attempts to analyze these key aspects.
